Job Title: Field Service Engineer
Description
Exciting opportunity to join a leading Apple Authorised Service Provider as part of their Field team. You will be working in Central London providing desktop and network support to a range of exciting Apple Mac based clients. We are looking for advanced skills up to server for this Apple Mac and Cross-platform position. The Position You will spend 80% of your time in the field providing network and desktop support to a range of SME businesses from Media companies to Design Houses to more cooperate clients. When not busy in the fiels you will be providing telephone support and hardware support from the Repair Centre at the Head office also in Central London. You will need an excellent knowledge of all versions of Mac OSX and Windows knowledge in order to provide top quality support and consultancy. You must be customer focused with excellent communications, with the ability to work to SLA standard. You will deliver; • Hardware and software support and diagnostics • First line support to clients and colleagues • Support to in house CRM systems • Installation of new equipment, network and back up solutions • Accurate estimations of time taken and cost to clients • Reports on problems and their resolutions to the client/s • Advise to customers on up grades and data migration • Leads to the sales team on any potential new business Technical Skills Essential Mac OSX client Mac OSX server Active directory Open Directory OSX Server builds Networking Firewalls/ routers Web technologies Microsoft Office Adobe Quark Express Desirable Windows client and server Apple Certifications Proven experience within a field role A driving license The Person Customer focused Bright and Personable Flexible Self motivated Professional Organised Remuneration £23,000 to 26,000 Bonus scheme Discount travel options Training and development
